Prof. Dalia is a reviewer for12 renowned international dermatology journals.
She organized and coordinated 21 different dermatology, laser and cosmetology workshops and training courses.
In 2011, she was awarded for the best scientific research at the national research center and in 2013, she was nominated and included in the international Marquis Who’s Who  recognition for the outstanding achievements of distinguished doctors in the dermatology field.
Prof. Dalia is also very passionate about community work. Ten years ago, she started supporting and treating burn victims in the most marginalized communities in Egypt.
In 2019,and in recognition to her work on burn victims, she was the first Egyptian doctor to be awarded “The International Award for Social Responsibility in Dermatology”, by the international league of dermatological societies at the world congress of dermatology held in Milan, Italy. This award is given every four years to only 5 doctors around the world. Moreover, she participated in several medical convoys to help treat the less fortunate patients across Egypt.
